From my start as a young designer the mentality branded into my DNA was, pay attention to detail and make your design memorable.
Gotta love a good art director.
As I have grown in my career, I developed a high interest in the user's experience, technology and building digital products that enhance a person's life. I also enjoy breaking down analytics to gain user insight.
So now? (queue the Tron soundtrack)
I want to make memorable experiences that "fights for the user" and creates a better life.
I embrace the advantages of iterative and agile development. I love working on lean machine teams. Hearing the scrum war cry "MVP first, sex appeal later," this mantra keeps me grounded and working toward the best possible product. Plus, who doesn't like the immediate reward of moving post-it notes from backlog to done? All of these approaches help solicit great user/client/peer feedback, create a successful product and most importantly, fosters a happy team.
Along my career journey I have worked with teams to build parallax, responsive, ecommerce, mobile and traditional websites. But like all designers, I've also earned my bars and stripes by creating HTML emails, website promos, content production, social media, banner ads, etc... I still love to do it all.
